Dear Friends, Greetings!
It is my pleasure to share with you the Vision and Mission of Mira-Bhayandar Congress for continued overall development of our twin-city.
Being an extended suburb of the financial capital of India, Mira-Bhayandar is one of the densely populated area in the country and our Vision is to continually improve the quality of life of each citizen in this city by providing best possible amenities and services. From a Gram Panchayat of 19 villages to a Nagar Parishad and then to a Municipal Corporation, Mira-Bhainder is today known as Mumbai’s one of the most desired realty hubs with uninterrupted power supply, wide roads, two railway stations, piped gas, safe environment, hospitals, playgrounds, schools, health clubs, jogger’s park, blood banks, library, bus stop, police station, to list a few. Though there may be short-comings and problems which could not be fully mitigated so far, it is still a real success story and all of you know who took the initiative for all these and which party transformed the dreams into reality.
Our vision is to transform Mira Bhayandar into a sustainable urban hub over the next 25 years, enhancing quality of life and fostering economic growth. Together, we will strengthen community engagement, improve public services, and preserve our cultural heritage for a resilient future.
Let us not fall prey to false promises and fake stories. Hoardings, banners or morphed videos will take us no where because there is not short-cut to enduring progress and prosperity. As a Congress leader, I know that we may or may not be able to achieve all that we promise and there may be many short-comings in what we do, but still it is all real. I consider it my fortune that I played some instrumental roles in bringing up this city during Congress rule overwhelmed by your support and affection.
सध्या MBMC क्षेत्रात मेट्रो रेल्वे प्रकल्प प्रगतीपथावर आहे. माझ्या पुढील दृष्टीकोनात, या मेट्रो रेल्वे कॉरिडॉरचा विस्तार उत्तन, गोराई आणि पुढे बोरिवली पश्चिमपर्यंत करण्याचा प्रस्ताव आहे. यामुळे एमसीजीएम क्षेत्राशी बोरिवलीमार्गे अधिक सुलभ आणि जलद कनेक्टिव्हिटी निर्माण होईल. या प्रकल्पामुळे वाहतुकीची समस्या सुटेल आणि नागरिकांना सहज प्रवासाची सुविधा मिळेल, हा माझा पुढाकार आहे.
उच्च इमारतींच्या विकासासाठी रस्त्यांची रुंदी कमीत कमी १२ मीटर असावी लागते, हे UDCPR नियम संख्या ३.३.९ नुसार आहे. त्यामुळे सर्व अस्तित्त्वात असलेल्या सार्वजनिक रस्त्यांची रुंदी कमी असलेल्या रस्त्यांना किमान १२ मीटर किंवा अधिक वाढविण्याचा प्रस्ताव दिला जाऊन त्याविषयी पावलं उचलली जातील. यामुळे, वाढती लोकसंख्या घनता यासाठी मल्टिस्टोरीड इमारतींचा विकास होऊ शकेल आणि सार्वजनिक सुविधा सुधारल्या जातील.
MBMC क्षेत्रात झपाट्याने वाढणारी लोकसंख्या आणि रहदारीच्या समस्यांमुळे गंभीर रुग्णांना MCGM रुग्णालयापर्यंत पोहोचवणे मोठे आव्हान बनले आहे. या समस्येवर तोडगा म्हणून, माझ्या पुढाकाराने पूर्व आणि पश्चिम भागातील ३० किंवा ४५ मीटर रुंद रस्त्यांवर चार हेलिपॅड्स आरक्षित करण्याचा प्रस्ताव मांडला आहे. हे हेलिपॅड्स आपत्कालीन परिस्थितीत रुग्णांना त्वरित मदत मिळवून देतील, तसेच VVIP हालचालींमध्ये आणि कायदा-सुव्यवस्था राखण्याच्या कामातही मोलाची भूमिका बजावतील.
We will Increase Frequency of MBMT Buses to meet the requirements of a growing Population and make ticket affordable. Buses launched as part of JNNURM Scheme which are currently dumped in the depot in a pathetic condition will be revamped and Put into service to resolve the transport issue of our city.
We will construct the MBMC – Veterinary Hospital for the pet lovers of our city. We will construct a new burial ground for pets in our city. We will make reservations of places for stray animals (digs, cats, etc) to make our roads safe for our citizens.
As per the MMRDA’s budget of 2016-17, no proper funds have been allotted for Mira- Bhainder Metro. We promise you to bring funds and get the work executed from MMRDA for our Mira-Bhainder Metro
We will make a Multi-Storey parking facility at the station to avoid the congestion and ensure safety for the vehicles of our citizens. We will also make proper parking provisions at the key places which is currently the need of the hour for our city.
Despite crores of rupees being spent on maintenance, we are still suffering because of potholes and bad condition of our roads leading to accidents and water logging. It’s our promise to provide hassle free transportation with pothole free cemented roads in our city.
Our city needs better governance. As per the proposed plan in 2010, the construction of Judicial Court is on the verge of completion. We promise to start its functioning at the earliest to maintain law and order in our city.
We will take this matter up with the State Government and bring relief to the residents of Mira-Bhayandar from the Toll Naka. After all, we are already contributing crores to the State Exchequer.
Uttan – Gorai- Manori. Metro extention towards Kasar Vadavali & Gaimukh
A ring route of Metro will bring about better connectivity and facilitate smooth movement of transport and reduce the stress of daily commuters. We will also facilitate in executing the metro extension towards Kasarvadavli and Gaimukh from our city.
We will solve disputes and ease the Deemed Conveyance Deed process for Co-operative housing societies in our city
We will construct the Bhainder-Dahisar Link road to ease traffic problems. One of our top priorities is to reduce the travelling time of our citizens and ensure hassle-free commuting.
We will set up a 24x 7 MBMC helpline number for citizens to solve their queries related to documentation issues as well as provide information pertaining to MBMC departments in a single call.
awkers are a major cause of congestion for internal city traffic on streets and near railway station. We will give proposal for creating proper hawker zones in the city.
As we approach the MBMC election 2017, it is time for us in Mira-Bhainder to make the right choice. So, my humble request to all of you is please do not fail to exercise your right and cast vote in favour of Congress by pressing “HAND” symbol.
